This beautiful little stone built villa set on the edge of the village of Prines, is immaculate, extremely romantic in style, and very tastefully furnished. It can comfortably sleep 6 people, having 3 bedrooms, and 2 showers/WC. There is a peaceful atmosphere to this well designed house, its small leafy gardens, with a 32sqm swimming pool.

Off the patio, the front door leads into the living area with a corner fireplace, and stone corner seating with cushions, and in built shelving with books and TV. To one side is a galley style fitted kitchen with full size cooker, and large fridge freezer. To the other side is a dining table and chairs.

There are two ground floor bedrooms, both with iron beds and handsome antique style furniture. One bedroom has a double bed hung with muslin mosquito nets, and the other has twin beds.

The bathroom on the ground floor has a small bath with shower fitment, washing machine and WC. A staircase curves up out of the living area, to a spacious wooden floored sleeping gallery set under a beamed ceiling, with a double bed, and a small en-suite shower/WC.

Outside on the split-level terraces, there is comfortable patio furniture and a large double swing seat with cushions and canopy.

The traditional old village of Prines has a few little shops, and some kafenions. There is an excellent taverna in the village of Atsipopoulo, 2 km away. The nearest beach is approx. 5 km away, while the bustling large town of Rethymnon, at 6 km distance, is a 10 minutes drive away. Car hire is recommended.
