Villa Angeliki, with its lovely views, is situated in a quiet location in the rural village of Afrata on the Rodopou Peninsula, 5 km from Kolimbari and 27 km from Chania. With three bedrooms the villa is suitable for 6-8 people. It has very large (70sqm) sun terraces on each floor, simply furnished for "Al Fresco" dining, and here one can enjoy magnificent far ranging views over the small gorge of Afrata and to the sea beyond.

On the ground floor there is a pretty open plan living/dining area with comfortable traditional seating area, a dining table, an open fireplace, TV, a radio cassette player and a telephone for incoming calls.

Separated from the living/dining area by a breakfast bar is a well-equipped kitchenette with a full size electric cooker, large fridge, dishwasher, coffee machine and ironing board with iron. Air conditioning is available (at an extra local charge).

On the first floor there is a spacious lobby with a desk and a sofa bed, and the entrance to the upper sun terrace. There are 3 bedrooms on this floor, one with wrought iron twin beds and a wardrobe, the second one with a French size double bed and a dressing table and the third one with a French size double bed, a single bed and built in wardrobes. The bedrooms share a large bathroom with bath/WC, and a washing machine.

The villa is surrounded by rocky terrain with some flowers, shrubs and a BBQ, a traditional wood burning oven and an outdoor shower. Stone steps lead to the entrance of the villa and to the terrace on the first floor. There are a few village houses nearby and in the village of Afrata there are four tavernas. The nearest supermarket is in Kolimbari, but fresh bread can be bought from the "bread-van", which stops in the village every day. The small pebble beach at the end of the gorge is about 900 metres away and can be reached down a little lane.

This villa is ideal for people who are looking for a relaxing holiday in a beautiful, natural and quiet spot off the beaten track. A car is essential.
