This 15th Century house was restored in neo classical style in 1996. The house is set in pretty gardens of 500sqm in size, in the little village of Asteri, 14 km east of Rethymnon and 2,5 km south of the sandy beach of Stavromenos. Behind the building there is an old stone oven, a BBQ and a private swimming pool with sun terraces. Country House Artemis is suitable for 16 people, and comprises of two types of apartments, which are very attractively furnished in modern style.

There are two studios (40sqm), each for 2-3/4 people with a bed/living room (either with twin beds or a double bed), kitchenette, and a shower/WC.

Both studios are on the ground floor and have sun terraces. Further there are two apartments on the first floor (60sqm), each for 2-4 people, with one twin bedroom, a dining/living room with sofa beds and a bath/WC (one with a full bath and one with a hip bath). The small balconies offer nice views over the village.

These two apartments can be interconnected to form one large apartment for up to 8 people. Further facilities are a washing machine and ironing board with iron.

Tavernas and shops are about 2 km away, therefore a car is recommended. This house is ideal for those who want a quiet and relaxing holiday, in an authentic Cretan hamlet.
