Uniquely positioned on the outskirts of Istro, about 14 km from Agios Nikolaos, this luxurious and family friendly hotel perches on terraced slopes in private grounds, above a beautiful sandy/pebbles bay protected by a rocky promontory on either side.

On the 600 metres long beach there are sun beds and sun umbrellas free of charge. It is ideal for a wide variety of water sports, and the hotel now has a diving center. In front of the hotel, there is a sparkling large seawater swimming pool, with a small children's pool.

The in total 145 rooms, apartments and suites are furnished traditionally, and have a terrace or balcony with beautiful sea views, bathroom/WC, telephone, radio, TV, hairdryer, beach towels, air conditioning, mini bar and a safety deposit box. There are four types of accommodation:

A: 60 standard rooms.
B: 43 superior rooms, for example with seating.
C: 15 suites/apartments suitable for 2-4 people, with a separate bedroom, kitchenette, and luxurious seating.
D: 27 Junior suites (garden views or side sea views) for 4 people, with a spacious bedroom/sitting room, superb bathroom, and balcony or terrace with patio furniture with sun beds.

The hotel has 4 different dining possibilities, a restaurant with hotel bar, one poolside taverna, as well as two further tavernas positioned on the beach. The excellent breakfast, as well as an evening meal, is served in the restaurant, and the sun terrace off the restaurant offers fabulous sea views.

Further there is an open-air disco, mini market, gift shop, jewellery shop, laundrette service and a children's play area. The hotel also offers Cretan evenings with traditional folk dancing, and barbecue evenings.

Shopping and a choice of other tavernas can be found in the village of Istro, approx. 900 metres away. There is a bus stop with a regular bus service to Agios Nikolaos, which can be found directly in front of the hotel driveway.

The hotel also offers excursions, and mountain hikes, Cretan evenings with traditional folk dancing, barbecue evenings, sport competitions as well as exercise programmes such as Yoga, Aerobics, and poolside or beachside games.

There are some shops and a good choice of tavernas in the village of Istro, approx. 900 metres or so away. There is a bus stop at the entrance to the hotel drive, which has a regular bus service to the town of Agios Nikolaos with its handsome new Marina, and wide variety of tourist amenities.
