Set on the banks of the Rio Grande River The Hotel Santa Fe is designed to represent the arid landscape of Mexico. The hotel has 1000 guest rooms which are divided into 49 pueblos of varying shapes and sizes.Scatted around these pueblos guests discover numerous icons which link together to make 4 separate trails, each representing aspects of desert life. Along the "Trail of Artefacts" guests discover a cactus encased in a huge glass structure, A meteorite that has mysteriously crash landed into one the pueblo's roof and even a grounded flying saucer. The "Trail of Water" examines the importance of water in desert life.. Guest accommodation is spread out from the main reception building in 42 ‘pueblos’. A good 15-20 minutes walk from park, or take the regular free shuttle bus to the Parks. |
