The centre of Puerto de la Cruz boasts lots of small shops, a wide ocean-front promenade and lido, and dozens of delightful cafés for afternoon tea and fancy ice-creams. From Hotel Tigaiga it’s a 20 to 30 minute downhill walk to the centre of town, and a little bit longer coming back - although you can always hail a taxi for the uphill journey!
